The Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) in the Department of Labor is one of six federal agencies participating in the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. ODEP’s web portal offers information and resources for individuals, employers, and service providers.

This collection of fun and informative videos and news clips features people with disabilities, including several “wounded warriors,” engaging in a variety of sporting activities and adventures, ranging from golfing to mountain climbing.

National Center for Physical Activity and Disability Open Link in a New Window

NCPAD offers several resources to help consumers and professionals improve access to fitness and recreational facilities and programs. Association on Higher Education and Disability Open Link in a New Window

AHEAD’s updated site offers a wealth of information and resources for students, parents, administrators, and disability services professionals in institutions of higher education. Their new publication Supporting Accommodation Requests: Guidance on Documentation Practices Open Link in a New Window provides a framework for handling academic adjustments, policy modifications, and other accommodations in light of the ADA Amendments Act and the 2010 regulations issued by the Department of Justice.
